Drinking or dancing?

What do you guys think is the best response to real hardcore roots music? My theory: all music starts with dancing, then as it becomes accepted, the clubs get too crowded, or it goes to concert halls, so all that's left is the drinking. Unless you find specialist dance clubs 30 years after the music had its day... and even then there'd better be a bar if you expect me to swivel my pelvis...
